🍉 Junta Local cofounder 2013-2020
I was born in Rio de Janeiro and have spent my life navigating the divide between visual design and technical systems. My journey has been defined by a lifelong fascination with art and cutting-edge technology, driven by an obsession with both how things look and how they work.
As a co-founding member of Junta Local, I was solely responsible for the brand and the construction of its digital foundations. This work included building a custom marketplace from the ground up in Laravel, which served as the primary link between artisanal food producers and their customers in Rio. The initiative was distinguished with multiple awards, notably for social empowerment and its broader contributions to the community.
My practice is rooted in a fundamental curiosity for the mechanics of complex ideas and their transformation into simple and elegant solutions. As an aficionado of sci-fi and games with a lasting appreciation for art and science, these influences naturally shadow my technical work and perspective. A graduate of PUC-Rio, I remain a perpetual tinkerer of emerging technologies, keeping a steady eye on the horizon to explore the next major shifts in the digital landscape, such as the current leap of AI LLMs.
